How it has actually taken me this long to do so, I have absolutely no idea. I feel like there’s already something that has replaced Etsy, I’m so behind the times. First real day of work today… baby gets an apron! And first, peanut butter toast. Today’s looking like a good one.
I finally made an Etsy account.
During my last Books-A-Million interview, I was asked when I could work, and I told her any time while secretly thinking: OhdearGodanytimethatisnotduringtheGleefinalepleasepleaseohmyGodpleaseanyothertime. There are seven days of the week And I only have one of them off. And… that’s right. It’s Tuesday. Ryan Murphy, this is the only time I firmly believe you had a strong hand in something actually working out the way I wanted it to. Though I know it will be the only other time ever, I am extraordinarily grateful for this one time. And that there are zero episodes left of Glee for a work schedule to interfere with. Oh my God no episodes left how is that something I am grateful for HOW oh God this is HORRIBLE I will be world’s most enormous basket case come Tuesday at 9 PM which reminds me that the episode doesn’t start until 8:00 which I think is INSANE though I will certainly tune in at 7:00 JUST TO BE CERTAIN I’m just saying 9:00 PM on Tuesday Emily is NOT an Emily that any of you will ever want to see, none of you ever, trust me.
That one time I got lucky.
Goddammit, Kristen Wiig, now I’m sobbing.
For the Teen Choice Awards. For being too old. Now, obviously, I just lied about my age and re-registered. But after starting the voting process… I realized exactly why they refused to let me register. I had never heard of seven-eighths of the nominees. Seriously. What is happening to our world? Why am I so out of the loop? WHY IS THE GIVER NOMINATED FOR BEST BOOK IN 2012? I hope it wins.

Why would I do that? What was the purpose of doing that so early? I was just so excited, and Amazon was so available. I have also been listening to Into the Woods constantly… which is just getting consistently MORE fantastic. Can it please be August already? … please?
I just ordered all of my textbooks for next semester.
Or at least better than yesterday. Days don’t actually get much worse than yesterday, which is exactly why today is going to be GOOD! I also cut off a significant amount of my hair. So, there’s that. And my second interview at Books-A-Million, hooray! Fingers crossed for actually getting this job. I really want a strawberry milkshake right now. Or an entire strawberry cake. … or both. Yeah, both.
Today is going to be good.

And it was just about the most spectacular thing that has ever happened to me. She was just there at Henry VIII, and I almost had a panic attack through 100% of intermission. The day was amazing, and it was yet another reminder of just how awesome theatre is. I also slept for fourteen and a half hours last night to catch up from all of the fun… which felt phenomenal! And now Sheila and I are watching Modern Family - perfect Mother’s Day, excellent weekend!
